The themed bus stops initiative was a strategy coordinated by the Department of Tourism and Culture of the Municipality of Angol, with the aim of rescuing local identity, boosting tourism and beautifying public space through muralism. The project to design and paint metal bus shelters for pedestrians waiting for public transportation involved several artists. In the case of this particular bus shelter, artist Pablo Antay painted an iconographic theme based on the Nahuelbuta National Park. In addition, to boost tourism, a QR code was place at the bus stop which, when scanned, directs you to the Department of Tourism and its various social media networks.
