Northbridge is a centrally located neighborhood just north of downtown Perth. It is considered one of the city’s most important cultural and entertainment districts, featuring a vibrant nightlife, bars, clubs, restaurants, and cafés, as well as a high concentration of cultural institutions such as theaters and galleries. The neighborhood also has a strong multicultural character and is home to Perth’s Chinatown, where many Asian restaurants and shops are located. It is also a hot spot for urban art. On this page, you’ll find streetart and graffiti especially around the Northbridge neighborhood with works from the urban art project PUBLIC by FORM in 2015 and the North Metropolitan TAFE with it’s huge murals from the edition in 2014. Robert Alan Hunter, better known as MC Hunter or Huntz, was an Australian rapper and hip-hop artist, he was also the founding member of the Syllabolix MC collective. He was born on 1st October 1975 and died on 20th October 2011 because of cancer. Rest in Peace.
