This streetart has been on these walls for many years; it was painted before the 2019 Covid-19 pandemic. However, the property itself has been abandoned since even earlier. It was damaged during the 8.8 magnitude earthquake that occurred on 27th February 2010, one of the largest earthquakes ever recorded, and which still left many properties damaged and abandoned in Angol’s historic center.
Starting with the pieces, on the left is ZEN’s character Smile, above an old yellow tag that’s almost faded. Next, there is a FITO tag above a heart pierced by an arrow. After a ruined window comes a pillar where we find a DYRE tag. A little further to the right is a ruined door, and above the lintel is a BLODY tag, who clearly had to climb onto something to leave his tag at that height.
