Castricum is a municipality in the province of North Holland in the Netherlands. This coastal town on the North Sea, with approximately 36.000 inhabitants, is known for its relaxed beaches and the „Duinreservaat,“ a large dune and nature reserve with hiking and cycling trails, wildlife, and stunning scenery. Also worth a visit are the Huis van Hilde archaeological museum and the Papenberg viewpoint with its panoramic views over the dunes. And, of course, urban art can be found throughout the town; especially in the small suburb „Castrium aan Zee“ located directly on the beach. Here is a collection of pics by photographer THOMAS HERAUF. We just started this page for Castrium, if you have more photos from this place you can send them to info@vagabundler.com and we will add them to the archive.
