Den Haag, or in English “The Hague”, is a western Dutch city on the North Sea. Although the capital of the country is Amsterdam, the seat of government is in Den Haag. The 16th century Paleis Noordeinde is also the home of the royal family and the city hosts the United Nations International Court of Justice in the Vredespaleis and the International Criminal Court. Also worth seeing are the Madurodam miniature park, the Inner Court and the Hall of the Knights. And of course the great urban artworks!
