Here are two old and well-preserved murals. In addition, it is the only expression of street art on the entire block. And despite the time, the graffiti have been respected and remain without intervention from third parties. Nor has the passage of time damaged the colors of the murals.
We first have a large green flop that, when approached, shows that there are several red stencils that say GREEMS, such as the black GREEMS stencils that are next to the character that is seen with headphones, a wool hat and with his hands in his pockets, in the attitude of a true representative of Angol’s hip hop. Therefore, we assume that the artists are a crew called GREEMS. That name also exists in other street art throughout Angol.
The photo that shows the fences that separate the two murals, written there is a date that says 10/03/12, which means that these murals were made in 2012, a decade ago. Therefore, this is another place in Angol where the thesis that I established in Cautín 710 is also fulfilled, which says: “in small cities in Chile there is no competition to find a wall to make graffiti, so that graffiti can remain unperturbed for more than a decade”.
The mural to the right of the dividing fence is an abstract, primitive figure that could be anything from a big flop to abstract graffiti. Finally, the palm tree that appears in all these final photos, gives a touch of design and style to this old mural.
