Le petit prince

AYDIN MATLABI defines himself as a humanitarian artist. For a decade, he has been traveling through countries and sectors at war and carrying out photographic artistic projects with children and women, in particular. In these projects he attempts to portray the reality and the sufferings of the people he meets while showing their resilience and strength. He also tries, through the art of giving his marginalized people a space of pride and identification. In 2017, he joined with MISS ME, an artist who shares similar concerns, to create this mural. The idea was to use AYDIN’s photos to bring him to the artistic field of MISS ME. Mission accomplished both visually and symbolically! The artwork was created during the Muralfestival in 2017.  –  Patrice Loranger

AYDIN MATLABI is as well the founder of FOUNDATION 64 or in short F64, which creates visuals for individuals who have gained their innocence back and they let them share their story of empowerment. The FOUNDATION 64 or F64 title was inspired by the photography group in the late 1920s and early 1930s, during a time of substantial social and economic unrest in the United States. These photographers explored the united state and documented the hard reality of the depression. Using large format camera, they opened their Focal points to the max which was F64. Therefore having everything in focus. FOUNDATION 64 is following the same path, only globally.  –  F64
