The graffiti wall in Hastahana Park isn’t particularly long, and in many places the surface is in quite bad condition, the coating has peeled away, revealing a rough stone base. Also the trees and bushes in between serve as minor obstacles. Nevertheless, this spot has been an important hub for graffiti and urban art, especially since the early days of spray-painting in the city. Already in the late ’90s after the war, the first-generation artists were active here and it was one of the first graffiti spots in the city. Especially the STF CREW aka SAVE THE FUTURE organized many small jams here and created fantastic pieces. In the upcoming interview with BILLAIN AETHEK, you’ll get some insights into this, along with stories from back in the day.
