ARGENTINA: Streetart Rosario - Santa Fe Urban Art Gallery - Gran Buenos Aires Province

With almost a million inhabitants, Rosario is the third largest city in Argentina after Buenos Aires and Córdoba and an important industrial center. The metropolis has earned its reputation as a cultural center above all in music. Along with Buenos Aires and Montevideo, the city is one of the cradles of tango, which developed in the late 19th century in the milieu of immigrants. In the 1970s, several styles of folklore and rock music gave rise to a distinct genre known as „Trova Rosarina“, which enjoyed national success. The Rosario International Poetry Festival was founded in 1993 and has been held every September since then and Rosario is also the city with the highest density of theaters in the country. The city is located 300 km northwest of the capital on the western bank of the Paraná. Here is a great collection of urban artworks and graffiti in Rosario taken by photographer and art lover ANALÍA PERTUSI aka PERTS JAM.
