„Three-Headed Hydra“
This giant three-headed hydra was created by the mural artist LEAN FRIZZERA from Buenos Aires together with SPOK BRILLOR from the Spanish capital Madrid. The huge mural is seven building stories high and was finished on 21st November in 2014 as part of the urban art project PROYECTO DUO initiated by creative director LUSI BLASCO from UNDER TRANSMEDIA.
PROYECTO DUO was a cultural initiative in public spaces that aimed to enhance urban spaces through streetart and large-format murals. It was launched by the creative production company UNDER TRANSMEDIA with the goal of creating murals in the city and documenting them on film. The name “Dúo” comes from the fact that two artists worked together, painting murals in pairs – often artists who had never worked together before. A total of six pairs of artists were planned, each designing a large wall space in the Palermo district.
The wall spaces were located on medianeras, the large side walls of buildings that were made available so that art could be created in public spaces and be visible to all passersby. This mural is located at Malabia 1171 with the GPS coordinates CH49+G8.
