Verona is a city on the River Adige in the northern Italian region of Veneto with around 260,000 inhabitants. It is known for its medieval old town and served as the setting for Shakespeare’s “Romeo and Juliet”, the house with balcony can be visited. Other interesting sights include the Torre dei Lamberti, Piazza Bra and the Arena with its huge Roman amphitheater from the 1st century, which today hosts concerts and high-class opera performances. This artwork shows a free interpretation of “The Creation of Adam”, which is part of the famous ceiling in the Sistine Chapel at the Vatican Museum originally made by legendary MICHELANGELO BUONAROTTI
“Cabineart” – GOODWALL STUDIO & EYLAB DESIGN
This painted electricity building is dedicated to the American scientist, inventor and entrepreneur Thomas Alva Edison, who was a specialist in the field of electricity and electrical engineering. The mural was created by the collective and art agency GOODWALL STUDIO & EYLAB DESIGN for the project CABINEART. You can find it in the southern district of Verona, not far from the long graffiti wall at Stradone Santa Lucia. Throughout the city exist several more artworks of this series.
