Edgar Lituma Soto has traveled to all corners of the world. Tracing a path through colorful alleyways in South America to the swarming, vibrant markets of southeast Asia, his art is an intricate blend of multicultural influences and the visions of the hazy dreamworld between sleep and consciousness. The uniquely artistic member of his native Ecuadorian Sucua family is now a graphic designer and animator by trade, though his downtime is full of creative endeavors—the products of a passion for self-expression. His work has appeared in local galleries, pop-up shows and in mural form. Despite a severe case of chronic wanderlust, Soto calls Atlanta home at the moment.

I always loved to read comics and I still do, the shelves are packed with X-Men, Thundercats and Ascensions and heaps of boxes are stored in the cellar. While scrolling through social media some month ago I stumbled over this creative guy here from Ohio and checked out his digital abstract comic styled artworks which took my attention. MARC KENNEDY – Musician and Freak Out Collagist

I stumbled over this fantastic and in multiple fields active artist because of his funny and crazy collages. Seeing them over and over, these odd and stupid characters made me just laugh and these artworks became like a little comic strip series. Marc Kennedy did these visual objects by cutting, preparing and replacing photos while he had a little break from recording a row of his songs. He published as well a book and is producing cool t-shirts, but mainly he is a musician.

Anchorage is a coast town located at the Cook Inlet bay and with around 290.000 inhabitants it is the largest city in in the US northernmost state Alaska. Recommended for visiting is the Alaska Native Heritage Center and the surrounding breathtaking nature. The city is the gateway to nearby wilderness areas and mountains such as the Chugach, Kenai and Talkeetna Mountains. Of course, there is also beautiful urban art here, especially the local artist ZIGGY has created countless large murals as well as smaller works of art across the city.
