New York-based LOGAN HICKS is known for his photorealistic stencil paintings. The artist’s works are largely inspired by the environment around the site. With his masterful ability to approach light, he transforms ordinary architectural scenes into metaphorical and thoughtful images. For LOGAN HICKS, patterns are an extension of light, hiding reality in the same way that trees cast shadows on the forest floor. In the summer of 2024, the LOGAN HICKS mural was replaced by a new work created by THIAGO MARTINS DE MELO as part of Borås Art Biennial 2024.
