SWEDEN: Streetart Borås - No Limit - Urban Art Festival - Event Gallery

The NO LIMIT urban art festival is an awesome event that has brought countless fantastic artists from Sweden and from all over the world to the city of Borås. A great deal of praise goes to those responsibles in the municipality, to their project HEY BORÅS and to the city council, who works as the curator of this happening. Borås has been transformed into a world-famous art city and is known for superbly showing its numerous creations. The town with 114.000 inhabitants is filled with countless works of creativity in urban space, whether huge-scale murals, filigree works on street corners or sculptures and monuments. There really are a lot of them and one is more fantastic than the next, all different, from history to modern, from oldschool to abstract, which is also the great thing about it. But one special festival that is dedicate solely to urban art is NO LIMIT, which took place for the first time in 2014 and has been held at regular intervals ever since. A large part of this development is due to the artist SHAI DAHAN, who has repeatedly left fantastic works of art in the city independently of the festival. But collaboration is also important and thanks to him in cooperation with the city, the festival was initiated and will hopefully continue in the future. The connections and collaborations kept on going, and in 2020 the event edition was combined with ARTSCAPE, who are just the main driving collective for organizing urban art events around Sweden. We have listed the individual works of art sorted by years, it is not (yet) complete. With the coming up editons we will also update this page, so more artworks will definitely follow. This documentary is an open source and everybody can collaborate, so if you have photos or information to missing pieces, you can send them to info@vagabundler.com and we will add them.
