Málaga is the second largest city in Andalusia and with around 570.000 inhabitants one of the biggest metropolises in Spain. Besides the interesting sights like the Arab Fort Palace Alcazaba, the Iglesia de Santiago, the Castillo de Gibralfaro or the Teatro Romano, it is also home to one of the most important universities in the country. The streets of the city are also home to some terrific urban art, such as the extensive portrait wall of the project “Lucha por lo Imposible” or graffiti around the cool skate park. “Lucha por lo Imposible” – BOHEMIO & ZAMBRANA
In September 2020 the Málaga athlete RAÚL ZAMBRANA and the local artist JUAN MARÍA RIVERO aka BOHEMIO created a fantastic mural of more than one kilometer in a depressed area of the city to promote personal motivation. They worked for over a month on the artwork or let’s say several artworks on the headquarters of the company Grúas Pichardo in the Sacaba neighborhood and now the wall is filled with colors and interesting portraits of famous people. With their artworks they want to invite the visitors to “Lucha por lo Imposible”, which means to “Fight for the imposible”. ZAMBRANA suffered a motorcycle accident in 2007 and has lived with a prosthesis since then, but continously he is taking part in sport events and marathons. He became a motivating and inspiring role model, who shows that nothing is imposible.
