Rasatura estrema – Extreme Shave
This is the first ADAM TEMPESTA artwork made thanks to Murarte and Artefatti Familia. Here he shows on the wall his passion for writing born from browsing the books found in the library of his school. Inspired by old school graffiti puppets, he draws a bizarre subject intent on shaving off unwanted hair from his face. With a strong visual effect, the artist conveys a message of encouragement: don’t get discouraged if things don’t appear as we would like. In fact, the protagonist, repeating the shaving gesture every evening, does not stop at the mere physical aspect and goes further. An incisive and effective painting in a cultural moment dominated by social media and selfies. The artwork was created in 2007. – MAUA MUSEUM
