Alla ricerca del Pesce Dorato – In search of the Golden Fish
During the weekend of celebration for the first birthday of the SAT – Street Art Tourino project, REFRESHINK paid an homage to SAT by painting one of its recurring characters: the fish. The latter, like birds, is a symbolic animal for the artist, representing a community that moves and interacts, as well as being frequent in traditional iconography. The contrast in the work is given by the figurative subject, illustrated with soft and soft lines, in opposition to the squared geometric background, useful for breaking up the figure in the foreground. The wall is in Borgata Tesso, a suburb with a suggestive architectural aspect that recalls the small villages of the past. This artwork was made in 2015. – MAUA MUSEUM
