Thanks to the event „The Queen of the Alps“ promoted by Murarte and Monkeys Evolution, the illustration by VIOLA GESMUNDO blossoms: Giacinto Carena, which is both the title of the work and the name of the street where it is located. A tribute to the homonymous Piedmontese naturalist who studied the Alpine ibex for a long time, an animal species that was in danger of extinction, today under protection. Viola loves to take inspiration from the context in which she is painting, finding references to the past and then reinterpreting them in a modern key. With a range of soft colors that recall the typical nuances of plant flora, he wanted to give light to an important figure in the history of the city so that the memory is not lost.
