JuKuZ “Gérard Philipe”
The youth art and culture center “Gérard Philipe” (also youth art school) with its artistic workshops, a foyer café and a hall for theater, dance and other events is an open house for children and young people from 5 to 25 years of age and their families, for schools, after-school care groups, teachers and educators who want to discover and develop their own creativity. The focus is on cultural education (youth culture) and participation (codetermination) for children, adolescents and young adults.
Art teachers, artists, social workers and educators work together at the JuKuZ. They develop the artistic ideas together with the children and young people in courses, projects, open workshops or they arise during a conversation in the café. They design exhibitions and stage theater projects, also the creative holiday projects are very popular. The organisators from the Humanistic Association of Germany State Association Berlin-Brandenburg e.V. (humanistisch.de) invite to use the many possibilities of this house and to help shaping it! – JuKuZ Gérard Philipe
