In Memory of Ozzy Osbourne
John Michael „Ozzy“ Osbourne was a British rock musician who rose to fame in 1969 as the lead singer of the heavy metal band Black Sabbath. He was nicknamed the „Godfather of Metal“ and the „Prince of Darkness.“ Ozzy Osbourne was born on December 3rd in 1948, and died on July 22nd in 2025.

José Alberto Mujica Cordano, commonly known as Pepe Mujica, was a left-wing and progressive Uruguayan politician and President of Uruguay from 2010 to 2015. He was born on 20th May 1935 and died on 13th May 2025. „No luches por ser exitoso lucha por ser feliz“ is a phrase from him and means in English „Don’t fight to be successful, fight to be happy.“

In Memory of David Lynch
David Lynch was a famous filmmaker, visual artist, musician, and actor. He lived from and created fantastic movies like The Elephant Man, Blue Velvet or Mulholland Drive. Also the surrealist mystery horror cult series Twin Peaks is from him. David Lynch lived from January 20th 1946 till January 15th 2025 and on the occasion of his death NEWEN VILU created this memorandum portrait in his honor and to his work.

Tribute to the 60th anniversary of the Chilean band QUILAPAYÚN
QUILAPAYÚN is a band from Chile founded in 1965 and one of the main representatives of Nueva Canción Chilena. On 7th September 2024, they also visited Berlin on their tour and gave a concert in the Passionskirche. The event was organized by MACONDO KONZERTE. With this work of art, the artist NEWEN VILU welcomes the band to the city and congratulates them on their 60th anniversary.
