Homage to DJ and graffiti artist Kay Slay – R.I.P
The American DJ and radio presenter Kay Slay died on April 17, 2022 at the age of 55 after contracting Covid-19. Musicians like Snoop Dogg and 50 Cent mourn his death. Born on August 14, 1966 in New York City, DJ Kay Slay grew up with his grandparents in East Harlem. He was popular as a star in the US hip-hop scene: The DJ and radio presenter Keith Grayson, his real name, died – as has now become known – after several months of fighting the disease Covid-19. Grayson was known under the pseudonyms “The Drama King” or “Kay Slay” and as a graffiti artist under “Dez”.
