Homage to great artist BEN WAGIN – Rest in Peace
BEN WAGIN was a German artist, sculptor, draftsman, designer, action artist, author, typesetter and founder of the artist group “Die Baumpaten” which means the tree sponsors. He was born on March 25th, 1930 in Jastrowie, Poland and died on July 28th, 2021 in Berlin. For his work and achievements he received the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany and the Order of Merit of the State of Berlin. The work of art was created by GITA KURDPOOR and MATE ARTIST as an honor and memory of the great artist during the BERLIN MURAL FEST in 2021.
