„Tour de France & OGC Nice“ – WHOLESTREET Project
On the occasion of the Tour de France passing through Nice in 2020, the tunnel at the Allianz Riviera soccer arena was embellished on both sides with two fantastic murals. The project was organized by the urban art association WHOLESTREET and carried out by the organizing artist OTOM together with his colleagues CESAR MALFI, DZON, KOTEK and NOVO. One side of the wall features motifs relating to cycling and the Tour de France. The other side is dedicated to the local soccer club Olympique Gymnaste Club de Nice Côte d’Azur, or OGC Nice for short. In addition to the happening, a large event was organized around urban cultures in the city centre on the Coulée Verte with DJs, rappers, musicians, a BMX show and graffiti artists in the skate park.
