Collaboration Artwork – Mirror Floor
This fantastic floor mural was a collaboration project by 15 involved painters. The main aritist was VILLE HUHTANEN together with EPPU ISOTALO and SIMO VARTIAINEN. The design for the 3D artwork was originally conceived by SARI SAARINEN from the agency DOMINUS JUHA-MATTI KUPAIAINEN.
The artist VILLE HUHTANEN about his artwork at IMATRA: “I try to make sure that the tones work independently and sound good together. The painting becomes more undersaturated the further away you are from it. We also thought about which colors would work best under different conditions. These factors, among others, influenced the hue solutions, Huhtanen says. The starting point for the work was the idea of fun and community, since this is a public project.” – VILLE HUHTANEN – IMATRA
