DENMARK: Streetart Odense – Urban Art in the hometown of Hans Christian Andersen

Odense is located on the Danish island of Funen and is the third largest city in the country with approximately 180.000 inhabitants. It is not only home to the main campus of the University of Southern Denmark, but is also the birthplace of fairy tale writer and storyteller Hans Christian Andersen. His vivid imagination continues to inspire and shape the city till today and there are several wonderful works of art dedicated to him in the streets. The Girl and the Panther  –  MISS TAKE

The great mural named “The Girl and the Panther” was made by artist ESTHER SARTO aka MISS TAKE from Copenhagen. It was created during her participation in an exhibition at Brandts in 2012.
