Homage to Dillman Bullock and Hugo “Fito” Gallegos by Pablo Antay
Dillman Bullock was a North American agronomist living in Chile who stood out as a naturalist and collector of species. He founded the Bullock Museum in the farm “El Vergel”, he worked in scientific research in the southern part of Chile, highlighting his archaeological research, the unfinished theory of the Kofkeche Culture and the discovery of natural species in the area of the Nahuelbuta Mountain Range. On the other hand, Hugo “Fito” Gallegos, was the creator of the Historical Museum of Angol, as well as a collector and philanthropist.
