CHILE: Streetart Angol – Cautín 745 – GRACÉS D & D.G. & TRESEK – (artworks no longer exist)

These three graffiti, from the @GraffitiPreBicentenario collection, were located in the morgue of this hospital. That is, where relatives came to look for their dead ones after receiving the legal death certificate. And these graffiti of course have something to do with death.

The hospital stopped working as such, and the morgue was closed and the walls painted white, as can be seen in the last two photos with white walls, where these graffiti used to be located.

The first graffiti figuratively shows the damage caused by cigarettes, and how dying hands receive the fetus that comes out of the smoke. The work is signed by Garcés D.

The second graffiti features the face of a child, signed by D.G. the year 2008. And in the sentence it says “La Esperanza de los Niños Dependen de los Adultos” (The Hope of Children Depend on Adults).

Finally, we have a third graffiti signed by TRESEK of an incognito character. On the far left at the bottom is a word that says “memorizalo” (=Memorize it).
