Family Health Center Huequen – Centro de Salud Familiar Huequen
This mural is strategically located at the intersection of two automobile highways, where many people cross throughout the day. That’s why the shapes of the graffiti must look good from faraway and also from different angles.
And the artist PRI fully achieved that goal, with large drawings that express allegories of life. It fits perfectly because the request for this mural came from the CESFAM or Family Health Center in Huequén. The mural was made in 2019 on its walls at Camino los Sauces and is signed by PRI.
The first figure of a girl with her back and her braids is based on the work of JAVIER BARRIGA, the “painter of braids”, as he is known for his monumental murals of women and their braids.
Later follow parts with the aesthetics of the 1980’s and young people’s ware are expressed, for example with Adidas-type shoes and a young woman listening to music on a transistor radio of those that used cassettes.
And everything ends with the peace of nature, a sunset sun and an endemic bird like so many that exist in Araucanía.
