GUY LAFLEUR was a hockey player who marked the history of the Montreal Canadiens hockey club. Nicknamed “Le Démon blond“ by the French speakers and “Flower“ by the English speakers of Montreal, he was an electrifying attacking player. These bursts of speed towards the opposing zone with blond hair in the wind are legendary in Montreal. GUY LAFLEUR played from 1971 to 1991 in the National Hockey League. He won five Stanley Cups during the 1970s Habs dynasty. He ended his prolific career with 560 goals and 1353 points on the clock. The Flower died in 2022 leaving Quebecers in mourning for one of the greatest hockey players in history and a national hero. This fantastic tribute artwork was made by MARC SIRUS and LNDMRK.
