BOSNIA-HERZEGOVINA: Streetart Sarajevo – Grbavica – Hamdije Cemerlica 45 – Little Flag Stones Gallery

Flag Stone Poem

Someone in this building definitely likes art and geography. Also it looks as though the work was created with and by children. Maybe with the help of adults. So it’s also about explaining the world in an artistic way. The many small stones, with their countless flags, further illustrate just how many different people there are on this planet, yet we’re all fundamentally the same, just in different ways. Which is good, because the diversity makes it more interesting. We hast have to get along with each other. And together, we can be a work of art called life, filled with innovation, invention, enthusiasm, and love. This discovery was a complete coincidence, which made it all the more wonderful. You can’t see the stones from a distance. But when you look more closely, your mind starts to wander. It’s a small space in the front yard of the building, but if you take a closer look and view each stone as its own object of a series, it’s an open-air gallery with more than 150 works of art!
