BOSNIA-HERZEGOVINA: Streetart Sarajevo – Mejtaš – Maršala Tita – Veliki Park – Nermine, dođi – MENSUD KEČO

“Nermine, dođi!”  –  „Nermin, come!“

One of the most heart-wrenching scenes of Srebrenica genocide against the innocent Bosniak population is the incident where a father Ramo calls out to his son Nermin to surrender, telling him that the Serbian soldiers, purportedly, „won’t do anything“. Ramo and his son Nermin were found by an exhumation team in a mass grave near Srebrenica in 2008. The Bosnian sculptor MENSUD KEČO created this artwork in Juli 2015 to memorize the killed people and not to forget this horrible happenings.
