Tatvan is located at an altitude of 1690 meters on Lake Van in the eastern Turkish province of Bitlis and has around 79,000 inhabitants. Railroad lines also run past the north side of the town and there are sidings for freight wagons. Trains from Eastern Europe arrive here time and again, bringing more than just loaded goods. The wagons are often decorated with great graffiti that has traveled thousands of kilometers across the countries. A moving gallery. Here we have a collection of graffiti pieces from these wagons captured by photographer and urban art fan EYÜP ILKUTLU. The graffiti were certainly created at a lot of different places, but they were finally spotted here. There are cool pieces by several members of the STU CREW from Serbia, also we have graffiti from Romania and Bulgaria.
