Sığacık is a small coast town with around 3900 inhabitants and belongs to the bigger municipality Seferihisar in the province of Izmir. It is located in the Turkish Aegean region and is popular for vacations because of its beautiful beaches and the chilled out area. The whole coastline is quite nice, but especially Sığacık in particular is an idyllic retreat and offers relaxed cafés and cozy hotels. Especially these overnight accommodations and the little alleys around them are partly decorated with beautiful urban art and local artists, as well as the homeowners, have created great murals here. These great photos of urban art were taken by the world explorers Thomas Adventurer and Diana Beekvelt, also known as NOMADS ON WHEELS. They have been traveling through Turkey in 2024 and took a lot of cool photos. The two are continously travelling the world with a strong committment to nature and environmental protection, which they try to get more attention to in their postings. They inform about interesting places and they clean up those locations. That’s how you should visit a place!
