On this wall we have graffiti by DASIC and a flop by ZEWOK, both artworks made in 2006. However, the photos were taken in August 2009 and still maintained the quality and color of the original work three years later. At least, nor until that moment had the mural been intervened by a third party. Perfect then for taking these photos.
DASIC’s main work is the head of a man showing his mouth closed by a zipper, as a symbolic way of showing what censorship means.
DASIC is an internationally renowned muralist and he develops projects of great magnitude and impact, mixing art and architecture. For a greater appreciation of his work, check out his website.
On the other hand, the artist who used the pseudonym ZEWOK no longer uses it, but he remains linked to art using his own name now, which is DIEGO ROA C. You can check out as well the fantastic artworks on his website how his art developed.
