VIETNAM: Streetart Vũng Tàu – Graffiti and Urban Art on the South China Sea

Vũng Tàu is a coastal city in southern Vietnam with a population of around 350.000, located about 100 kilometers from Ho Chi Minh City on the Vũng Tàu Peninsula at the South China Sea. The city was once an important port for European merchant ships and later a popular seaside resort during the French colonial era. Among the most famous sights is the massive “Christ the King” statue, which stands on a hill overlooking the city and offers an impressive view of the coast. Also worth seeing are the historic lighthouse, one of the oldest in the country, as well as the colonial White Palace and the beaches of Bai Sau and Bai Truoc. Of course, you’ll also find urban art and colorful murals on the street walls. The following photos were taken by  traveller and streetart lover MAZZANTI.
