THAILAND: The Floating Markets in Bangkok – Traditional Marketing on the Water

Maybe you searched for it already in the internet, but there is not something like “The Floating Market” in Bangkok, actually there are just heaps and numerous ones. It can be observed everywhere along the rivers and water alleys, you can see the daily business all around and it is simply fascinating.  And yes, at those promoted spots you can also buy some tourist stuff and souvenirs, because tourists are visiting there. But there is trading and networking just everywhere in this city. On the streets, below the streets, above the streets, on the mountains, on the water. And some of this water marktes are more famous and easy to access, therefore you can find more content about it in the internet. But actually there are really numerous places along the river where you can find this kind of floating boat marketing. When you go to the city and visit the country, don’t only look on the promoted hot spots from the big websites. Just go for your own and take a little adventure with new exploration. You will be suprised what you can find. In this post are photos from one of the floating markets areas in the north-east.
