Hagavågen – Haga Wave
An appeal to freedom of expression – If you can say what you want, why do you want to say that? Why hurt, threaten, intimidate? Can you explain so that I understand? If you say what you want. Words that hurt and destroy Maybe it’s better to keep quiet until you understand what the words do. Someone said: sticks and stones can break my bones, but your words can never hurt me. I think that whoever said it has never experienced when the eyes burn with tears. Tears you hold back. Don’t want to show how much it hurts. Don’t show your vulnerability. Don’t let your nose in. Does it make you happy when I get sad? Do you grow when I shrink? No one can break the pattern.
All cast in the same mold. And what I say about you probably says more about me. If you don’t think so, tell me. And those words you should, think how badly they hurt. Yes, I can say them, but is it still okay? So what world do we want to live in? Our choices become our reality. Let everyone be themselves. Celebrate our differences. Without it, life would be boring. Fewer colors on our palette. And who can judge what is right and wrong anyway? Don’t say everything you think, things that hurt and offend. Let your words bring security and comfort. For it is true what is said, that words have power, and there is power in your voice. If I can say what I want, what do I want to say? What do I want to give you around? Perhaps just what I myself want to receive.
