National Assembly Sculptures from 1939
The Parliamentary Town Hall for the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia was designed in the Edwardian architectural style by architects Nikolaj P. Krasnov and Konstantin Jovanovič and built on an area of 13,400 m² in 1936. The stairs to the entrance are lined on both sides by impressive statues by the Croatian artist TOMA ROSANDIĆ, each depicting a person trying to tame a horse. He lived from January 22nd 1878 to March 1st 1958.
