Tribute to biologist Siniša Stankovi?
Siniša Stankovi? was a Serbian scientist and politician who lived from 26th March 1892 till 24th February 1974. He was not only an important thinker for Serbia, but also for the whole science of biology with his ideas, studies and knowledge. Therefore he also became a member of the Serbian Academy of Sciences. The great local urban artist ARTEZ made this mural to honor Siniša Stankovi? and his work. It is located at the „Institut za bioloska istrazivanja Sinisa Stankovic“, or in English ”Institute for Biological Research Siniša Stankovi?“, which is a national institute and as a faculty part of the University of Belgrade.
