Christchurch, or Ōtautahi in Māori, is the largest city on the South Island of New Zealand and is also a self-contained local authority in the Canterbury region. Worth visiting are the pedestrian mall built in the early 1930s, New Regents Street with its Spanish style architecture, the Christchurch Art Gallery or a ride with the 862 metre cable car up to Mount Cavendish. Interesting are as well the urban artworks of course, here we have a collection with magnificent creations from photographer WILLIE SCHNAUBELT.
