Tribute to race car driver Nikola Asanović
The mural is a lasting tribute to the successful Montenegrin race car driver Nikola Asanović. It was completed in October 2022 to commemorate this exceptional athlete, who had tragically lost his life in a traffic accident just a short time earlier, on 6th September. Initiated and funded by his closest friends and family, the large-scale portrait by artist MIŠO JOSKIĆ depicts the smiling athlete holding a winner’s trophy alongside his distinctive Norma race car bearing the number 22. Asanović was considered one of the country’s most talented and beloved racers, having set records on numerous tracks in Montenegro and throughout the region.
