MÉXICO: Streetart Mazatlán – Urban Art Collection in Sinaloa

Mazatlán is located on the Pacific Ocean in the Mexican state of Sinaloa, just across from the southernmost tip of Baja California. The meaning of the name comes from the Nahuatl language and means “place of the deer” in English. Founded in 1820, the city developed over time into a thriving commercial and port city. Mazatlán became famous, especially in South America, in 2005 through the “Serie del Caribe”, a baseball tournament with teams from Mexico, Puerto Rico, Venezuela and the Dominican Republic. Not quite as well known is the urban art, but over the years more and more grandiose works have been created in the city. Here we have a collection with magnificent urban creations photographed by graffiti hunter and streetart lover MAZZANTI. Check out her instagram channel, where she regualry presents great pictures from Sweden and from other countries all over the world.
