The island Holbox is located on the north coast of the Yucatán peninsula in the Mexican state of Quintana Roo. The area was once populated by the Maya, who also gave the island its name in their language. Holbox means “black hole” and it´s called this way because of the dark water caused by mangroves in the lagoon Yalahao. Here we have a photo collection about the amazing graffiti and streetart on the island Holbox. The images were contributed by fantastic team member PraxiDeLuxe.
