DAN KITCHENER aka DANK from the UK has been working with murals for over 10 years. It was the first time in Kazakhstan. The artist paints buildings in his unique style. Most of the works are devoted to the night and / or rainy city. For his sketches, DANK uses photographs that he takes during his various trips. – Mural Fest Almaty
“The main theme of my work is urban landscapes taken from everyday life. I love to find beauty in the most mundane scenes, which attract me with their relationships between color, light, shadow and composition,” says the artist.
