The large sculpture by the well-known American artist JONATHAN BOROFSKY has been presented in Berlin since May 1999, 30 meters high, weighing around 45 tons and yet transparent and light. With the three figures made of aluminum that unite to form a whole, the artist reminds us that „both man and molecules exist in a world of probability and that the goal of all creative and spiritual traditions is wholeness and unity within World to find „. The special location of Treptow: Here the Spree, there the metropolis Berlin, was ideal for this concern. The Molecule Man complements the Allianz art concept in Berlin.
