In 2016 the artists MAYÉ and MONDÉ, working in pairs, created a singular work with harmonious tonalities. The theme stands out at first glance: “We are sheep and we all need a shepherdess”, say the two French artists. In the foreground, Mayé represented a shepherdess with a mechanical body and an improbable posture. Did you notice the delicacy of the lace? Made entirely with a bomb! In the background, we can admire the Latin calligraphy of Mondé, influenced by the aesthetics of Arabic writing. – Julien Canadas
