Dissection
SMITHE is a self-taught multidisciplinary Mexican artist. Graffiti, design, illustration, sculpture and music are part of his fields of interest. SMITHE is greatly influenced by science fiction films, comics and Mexican aesthetics. The themes of the human being, individuality and self-awareness are at the heart of his work. He often uses deconstruction or fragmentation to question the elements that make up the individual and which are found within beings. – Patrice Loranger
