ACAP Project in Vlore
The Italian artist Mrfijodor was called, together with Checko’s Art and Davide DPA from the 167BStreet Crew to participate in the ACAP project which means “Community Action for the Conservation of Protected Areas of Albania”. An initiative aimed at protecting the artistic heritage, the promotion of protected areas and the development of a new sustainability – economic and social – in the areas of Vlore, Gjrokastra and Berat.
And precisely in Vlore, thanks to the Community Action Fund (CAF) Mrfijodor has carried out a series of interventions on some bunkers present at the end of the nature trail of the Vjosa-Narta Protected Area. The works represent a clear message to a conscious use of waste and to the protection of fauna.
“Finally we are able to move more freely again. In the last period I fulfilled a dream, after 15 years I managed to paint the Albanian bunkers, whoever knows me knows how many years I have been talking about. Next stop is “Super Wall” for the Street Art Biennial of Padua ”- Mrfijodor
