This artwork was created by the artist DEBRA SPARROW during the Vancouver Mural Festival in 2020. The artist’s name in her native language is θəliχʷəlʷət and she is a musqueam weaver, painter and knowledge guardian. She is also self-taught in Salish design, weaving, and jewelry making.
