Tribute to Goce Delčev  –  Гоце Делчев

Georgi Nikolov Delchev, also known as Goce Delčev, was a Bulgarian-Macedonian revolutionary and is considered one of the most important leaders of the Internal Macedonian-Adrianople Revolutionary Organization. He was born on February 4th in 1872 in Kilkis, Greece, and died on May 4th in 1903 in Banitsa, Greece. Like most of the statues in the city, this one was erected with a horseman on a stone pedestal, and there are other emblems and scenic works of art on the pillar.
